Kristen has been working in the field of social work since 2018. She is a certified Yoga Instructor, incorporating this into her counseling. She also has additional training in trauma-informed counseling and sexual violence, cognitive behavioral therapy, and is working towards certification for Somatic Experiencing with an expected competition date of 2024. Sarah Beth Eskes
Sarah Beth identifies as a Metis mental health therapist who began her journey majoring in Indigenous studies with her Bachelor of Education. Sarah Beth completed her degree in Social Work to continue advocating for Indigenous peoples and empowering those on the path to healing. She has currently completed the first of three years for somatic training in becoming a certified somatic practitioner.
Throughout her time practising, she has served in northern communities in treaty 6, treaty 8 and treaty 5 within Saskatchewan.
Sarah Beth’s scope of practise consists of intergenerational trauma, abuse/neglect, relationship issues, anger, grief and loss, self compassion, anxiety, suicidal ideation and emotional regulation.
The modalities used in her practice include holistic approach, somatic, emotionally focused therapy, culturally sensitive, strengths based, cognitive behavioural therapy and dialectical behavioural therapy.

I am a registered social worker with a Master of Indigenous Social Work from the First Nations University of Canada.
I have my certificate in Somatic Experiencing (SEP) and have my Level 1, 2 and 3 of Parnell Institute Attachment Focused-EMDR therapy. I provide one-on-one counselling to adults and youth struggling with trauma including addiction, domestic violence, childhood neglect, relationship conflicts, anger management, anxiety, depression, grief, stress and difficulty coping, sexual assault, sexual abuse and thoughts of suicide.
In my counselling I am sensitive to the impacts that colonialism and residential schools has had on Indigenous people and my approach is informed by this history.
